Install Google Chrome On Fedora 20/19/18/17

Google Chrome One Of the BEST Browsers with latest features and functions.This Browser was provided by Google and it is an opensource and safer to browse too.

In this tutorial I will tell you how to install Google Chrome browser on Fedora 20/19/18/17/16 and older versions too.

Two ways to install google chrome on Fedora

METHOD 1:Direct Download 

Directly download the RPM file from the home website and install it, for download link click HERE

METHOD 2:Install it via Yum

Step 1: Create a repo file 

nano /etc/yum.repo.d/googlechrome.repo

Step 2:Add the following lines to the repo file

If you are using 32 bit OS please copy the below lines

[googlechrome]
name=Google - i386
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/i386
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

If you are using 64 bit OS please copy the below lines

[googlechrome]
name=Google - x86_64
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/x86_64
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

Step 3:Update the YUM Repository

Step 4:Install Google Chrome  via YUM

For Stable Versions
yum install google-chrome-stable

For Beta versions
yum install google-chrome-beta
