In this Tutorial i will show you how to install google talk plugin on ubuntu 14.04 / 13.10 / 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04 & Linuxmint 15 / 14 

Google Talk plugin is availabe for ubuntu to make video and voice calls,so install this plugin and login with your gmail id and start making calls

Installation steps

Step 1:Download the key from google

wget -q -O - https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add - 

Step 2: Add the source key to the repository

echo "deb http://dl.google.com/linux/talkplugin/deb/ stable main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list

Step 3: Update the local repository

sudo ap-get update

Step 4: Install Google Talk Plugin 

sudo apt-get install google-talkplugin
