Install YouTube-dl On Ubuntu / LinuxMint / Fedora

Youtube-dl a popular command line tool used for downloading videos from Video streaming sites ie Youtube,Daily motion,Vimeo and etc..It is based on Python,and it is written in pygtk asl needed the Python interpreter for downloading

In this tutorial i will show you how to install the Latest version of Youtube-dl in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS / 13.10 / 12.04 LTS, LinuxMint 15 / 14,  Fedora 20/ 19

Installation Steps
Simple Way to install the Youtube-dl is by PPA,It is Officially provided by webupd8 team

Step 1:Add the PPA
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimodard/webupd8
Step 2: Update the Repsoitory
sduo apt-get update
Step 3: Install Youtube-dl
sudo apt-get install youtube-dl
Installation  steps for  Fedora  / RHEL / CentOS
Enable the epel Repository and  use yum Package manager to install
yum install youtube-dl
How to use Youtube-dl 
For downloading the videos  copy the YouTube url ,and paste in terminal like this
$ youtube-dl youtube video link 

For Downloading 1080P videos using Youtube-dl
For downloading 1080p videos  copy the YouTube url and add -F before the youtube URL

$ youtube-dl -F youtube video link
It will show all available formats of the Video

For downloading add  -f  followed by format code 137 to the youtube-dl

$ youtube-dl -f 137 youtube video link
