In this Tutorial, I will show you how to install qBittorrent 4.1.4 On Ubuntu 18.10/ 18.04 LTS &  LinuxMint Via PPA

qBittorrent is an open source BitTorrent client designed as an alternative for the popular client Torrent written in Qt4. It is using the libtorrent-raster library, which means it supports all operating systems Windows, Linux, MacOSX and FreeBSD.

  • Allow disabling speed graphs

Installation Steps

Step 1: Add the Official PPA from qBitorrent Team
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable

Step 2: Update the repository
sudo apt-get update
Step 3: Install qBitorrent 4.1.4
sudo apt-get install qbittorrent
